Girls Who Code is a national after-school program for girls learning to use computer science to impact their community and join a sisterhood of supportive peers and role models.
RPL's GWC will focus on the 3rd - 5th grade age range. This will be a drop-in club that focuses on unplugged activities to learn the basic concepts of coding, as well as some online drag-and-drop coding.
For new students, it is helpful if their parents help them create a Scratch account prior to coming to their first session. This can be done at: https://scratch.mit.edu
