  • Date: 05/18/2019 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM
  • Location: Richland Public Library
    955 Northgate
    Richland, Washington 99352
  • Introduction: Three Rivers Dulcimer Society members play Appalachian mountain dulcimers, but other acoustic instruments are welcomed as well. Members also play penny whistles, recorders, bodhran, guitar, fiddle, viola, cello, and string bass.

The Three Rivers Dulcimer Society will be offering beginners lessons and jam sessions in the STEAMSpace at the Richland Public Library this Saturday!

They will typically be here on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month, but keep your eye on the calendar and Facebook because they have multiple performance dates during which they will not be hosting a jam.

  • Free lessons for beginners and newer players from 12 - 1 pm.
  • Regular jam session from 1 - 4 pm. Everyone in the jam circle can take turns picking favorite songs for the group to play.

There’s usually a dulcimer that you can borrow to play if you don’t have one of your own.

This group plays mostly Celtic, traditional, and folk music in the keys of D and G. Many of its members play Appalachian mountain dulcimers, but other acoustic instruments are welcomed as well. Members also play penny whistles, recorders, bodhran, guitar, fiddle, viola, cello, and string bass. They'd love to have you come and play!

If you'd like to attend, please visit www.threeriversdulcimersociety.net and print the free dulcimer tab to bring with you.
