Girls Who Code is a national after-school program for girls learning to use computer science to impact their community and join a sisterhood of supportive peers and role models.
Fall Session 2018 will focus on the 3rd - 5th grade age range. This will be a drop-in club that focuses on primarily unplugged activities to learn the basic concepts of coding (there will potentially be some basic online coding).
Winter Session 2019 will focus on the 6th - 12th grade age range. The older girls club is a 10 week project-based commitment, so you need to sign up at the beginning of the session. Informational sessions for parents and girls are scheduled for December and January.
Club sessions will occur during fall, winter, and spring, so even if you can't be involved this time, keep your eyes open for additional opportunities.
