Book Sales
Book sales occur once or twice year. They are wonderful opportunities to get some great books at unheard of prices.

We don’t let the leftover books go to waste. We provide many of the books to Once Sold Tales, which sells to book on line, with a portion of the profits coming back to us. We have also contributed books to Goodwill and programs collecting books for soldiers who are overseas.

About Our Book Room
Our Book Room sells used books. It is located in the library lobby. We would like to extend our hours but for that to happen, we need to welcome new volunteers. Application forms are available in the Book Room or on this website.

Since our retail areas are so spacious, we no longer have to box up books and wait for semi-annual sales to have sufficient space to display them. All our books are available every day when the Book Room is open. Our prices are always low. We always have a few free items. Check us out. You need never leave empty-handed.

The citizens of our community continue to be most generous in donating books for re-sale. We gratefully accept all donations with the exception of items that we have learned do not sell. We appreciate your cooperation in not bringing those items to us. Thank you.

All the funds generated through the Book Room, with the exception of those spent for supplies, are used to support library programming. Buying books at the Friends’ Book Room is truly a win-win situation.
