  1. Nature Hunt Artist Trading Cards Drop In After School

    April 17, 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM @ Check in at Children's Desk

    Stop at the Children's Desk to get a blank artist trading card, some colored pencils and something to search for outside (weather permitting). If it rains, we will have to do our nature hunting through the windows. Supplies provided by the Friends of the Richland Library. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

  3. Eco Animal Rescuers 10:00 am Special Guest: Blue Mtn. Wildlife

    April 19, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Children's Department

    Join the Richland Arts Commission and special guest Blue Mountain Wildlife (with a raptor exhibit) for stories, info about their upcoming art contest and art instruction. All Ages. Preschoolers must be accompanied by an adult. Kids Pre-K to 18 are invited to enter the "Eco Animal Rescuers" Art Contest. All entries must by 8 1/2 x 11 inch landscape format. Use colored pencils, crayons, paint or any medium you choose. Drop off entries at the Richland Public Library or the Richland Community Center no later than May 19th.

    Jack and Scout are Registered Therapy Dogs. They both are Golden Retrievers. They both love stories and kids. Stop in to read them a story!

    About 20 minutes of rhymes, songs and books for babies 16 months and younger with their caregiver followed by baby play time with toys purchased by the Friends of the Richland Library.
