  1. Preschool Story Time 10:00 am

    September 23, 10:00 AM - 10:45 AM @ Children's Story Circle

    About 40 minutes of stories, songs and rhymes followed by a simple craft to make and take home. Geared to 3 to 5 year olds but younger and older siblings often enjoy it too!

  2. Read to Jack & Scout, Therapy Dogs 3:30 pm

    September 23, 3:30 PM - 4:45 PM @ Children's Department

    Jack & Scout are both Golden Retrievers and Registered Therapy Dogs. They love to hear stories! Share a book with them!

  3. Baby Story Time 10:00 am

    September 24, 10:00 AM - 10:30 AM @ Children's Story Circle

    Stories, rhymes and songs for babies 16 months and younger and their caregivers followed by baby play time with toys provided by the Friends of the Richland Library.

  4. Toddler Story Time 10:00 & 11:00 am

    September 26, 10:00 AM - 10:30 AM @ Children's Story Circle

    About a half hour of stories, songs and rhymes geared to 1 1/2 to 3 year olds with their caregiver.

  3. Department of Ecology Public Workshop on the Columbia River 7:00 PM

    September 25, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM

    The Department of Ecology invites the public to comment and participate in the process to update the Middle Columbia River geographic response plan (MCR-GRP) for oil spill response. At the workshop, Ecology will explain the update process and how the MCR-GRP integrates into the Northwest Area Contingency Plan. The public is encouraged to provide comments on the existing plan through October 25, drawing attention to sensitive areas of concern to them that might not currently be mentioned in the MCR-GRP.
